NoCo Studio presents”Arboreal Illustrations”:
Please join us for “Arboreal Illustrations” Art Exhibit featuring local artist Sherry Riggs.
“I saw my first tree in Northern California, standing tall in the sunlight the body of a goddess highlighted by the sun. A new art emerged from the nature, standing in the future. All I could see was a woman’s torso. It was though she was standing tall reaching for the sky. I pictured her upside down in my head, to stand her upright and began to photograph these images. I can see these goddesses everywhere, from the shores of San Pedro to the mountains of Vail, Colorado. Provocative, daring, beautiful!!”
