Dine with the Undead! The Cellar Announces 8th Annual Trick or Eat Dinner & Show


Dare to descend the darkened stairway and into the depths of The Cellar as they celebrate their 8th Annual Trick or Eat Halloween Dinner Party.  The lore of haunted restaurants is talked about, but nowhere is it truer than in The Cellar.  The space in which The Cellar inhabits was home to untold mysteries as the cellar of the old California Hotel.  The haunting of The Cellar is a closely guarded secret and is revealed only  during this time of the year.

Our favorite zombies and award-winning troupe from the Maverick Theater will be on hand once again to bring frights and fun throughout the meal.  The Cellar’s chefs have channeled their inner spirits and conjured up a delectable dinner with a haunted twist. The Spirit Room’s mad mixologists have created some spooky libations from behind the bar just for the evening and a selection of macabre wine will also be available.  Due to limited space caused by an overabundance of ghosts, Trick or Eat will be held two nights this year.

The themed four-course menu presented by Executive Chef Brandon Stein will feature amusingly haunted items. There’s the Nightmarish Lamb Belly over a Cursed Apple, Bacon and Frightening Fennel Chutney topped with a Bloody Pomegranate Gastrique. Plus, you can’t escape the Cadaverous Bone-in Short Rib braised in Porter Ale with Poisoned Peruvian Purple Potato Purée topped with a Devilish Dark Cherry Demi. This is not a dining experience for the wary or the faint of heart.

On October 31st, be sure to stick around after 9pm for The Aftermath aka The Cellar’s 8th Annual Halloween Party where a different type of spirit will liven up the atmosphere. Enjoy themed cocktails and appetizers; a Monster Mash DJ; and dancing the night away at this “All Ghouls Welcome” soiree! No reservations or tickets are required for this spooky gathering.
