Early Bird Opens Doors for Pop-Up Concept
This Weekend

FULLERTON, Ca. (January 29, 2013) – Early Bird, one of Fullerton’s newest and most popular restaurants, announced today that it will feature a pop-up concept dinner—“Friend or Phò”—this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (Jan 31-Feb 2, 2013). Inspired by his love of citrus, chiles and fish sauce, Chef de Cuisine Frank DeLoach will explore the continent via small and communal plates, giving diners a taste of the far east. “Friend or Phò” is the first in a series of special dinners before Early Bird officially opens for dinner service in March 2013.

“We are so excited to have Chef DeLoach on board. He brings a level of creativity and fun that’s been missing from the North Orange County scene for ages. With this pop-up and the several to follow until our dinner service starts in March, we will expose North Orange County to his exciting style and our collective vision for dining. We’re giving him the keys to the car and its gonna be a fun ride,” says co-owner Tank Menzies.

“If this dinner is anything like our Fried Chicken Dinner a few months ago, diners are guaranteed a good time,” says co-owner Marcelo Caraveo. “We even have Chef Ryan Berk from À La Minute in Redlands coming on Friday to do ‘nitro-ice-cream’ to order – it’s an amazing collaboration that should put a smile on everyone’s faces.”
