Salsa on over to Fullerton’s 8th Annual Taco Festival — a fiesta of food, drink, and entertainment. It’s also a fundraiser!

A plethora of tacos will be served at the Fullerton Museum Plaza this sunny Saturday, August 18th at 5pm. Additionally, a tequila tasting tent and beer & wine bar will be ready and waiting for you, to keep you “hydrated.” Although admission is free, attendees need to purchase tickets for all consumables.

Proceeds benefit the Fullerton Museum Center and the Fullerton Sister City Association, both non-profit organizations.

About the Fullerton Sister City Association

The Fullerton Sister City Assocation, led by Mike Oates, Sr., was founded in 1964 and maintains connections with the city’s three sister cities: Morelia, Mexico; Fukui, Japan; and Yongin, South Korea.

Every spring, up to twelve students from Fullerton middle schools are chosen as “Junior Ambassadors” to travel to one of our three Sister Cities during summer vacation.  Students from one Sister City visit Fullerton each year, staying with host families while they explore our town.  Adult trips to Sister Cities are arranged on a regular basis, and multi-cultural events take place throughout the year, including folk dancing and authentic cuisine during “Faces of Fullerton” in April.

For more information about the 8th Annual Taco Festival call the Fullerton Museum Center at 714.738.6545 or visit the Facebook event page here.
